I have 12 – 6 year olds out at their first experience of Girl Scout Day Camp this week.
At first I was thinking there wasn’t much in the way of paper out there to share with you. But I suppose all our schedules, rosters, fire starters (shhh!), songbooks, and menus count too.
Our young adult assistants make camp so much fun for the girls and work very hard to pitch in with teaching and guiding the youngest friends. So I made them each a card with their camp name and some of the activities we participated in this week.
The theme was Day Camp Rocks (rock and roll AND geology) so I made Pet Rocks with googly eyes and “Day camp ROCKS thanks to you! 2015 for the adult volunteers.
It’s fun to be back at camp where I spent a week each summer from Kindergarten through High School.
While I’m out at camp, enjoy a Blog Roll of a few of my favorites that I read for inspiration, enjoyment, or just because they’re beautiful and well done. My feed is overfilled, but I don’t often skip a post from these ladies.
